Why the framework matters

Why licensure preparation anchors this platform.

Licensure is where nursing assessment gets real. The planned NCLEX-focused experience makes the examination a program prepares for — NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN — the starting point of authoring decisions rather than a label applied afterward.

Clinical judgment

  1. 01Recognize cues
  2. 02Analyze
  3. 03Prioritize
  4. 04Act
  5. 05Evaluate

01

For nursing programs

Associate, baccalaureate, and practical-nursing programs will align scenarios and items to the examination their candidates sit — NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN — with review states visible before any material reaches a learner.

02

For faculty

Faculty will work from explicit examination scope plus clinical-judgment context — recognize cues, analyze, prioritize, act, evaluate — so RN and PN practice material measures reasoning at the right level instead of recognition.

03

Honest about outcomes

Practice results estimate readiness. ProficiencyNursing does not promise pass rates, and nothing here is a shortcut around a licensure examination.

Learner safety

Delivery is separated from authorship.

Keys, rationales, validation findings and authoring notes stay outside the learner surface. Faculty review remains a required gate rather than an optional one.
